She was predeceased by: her parents, Vern Zempel and Mabel Zempel (Fenske); her brother Gerald'Butch'Zempel; and her stepgrandson Aaron Gronau. She is survived by: her husband Reginald "Reg" Wood; her son Christopher Wood (Jean) of Franklin; her sisters, Eleanor Ziesmer (Ken) of Olivia and Lois Klabunde (Darwin) of Crooks; her sister-in-law Nancy Zempel; her brother Dennis Zempel (Pam) of Morgan; her stepdaughter Melissa Kidroski (Pete); her pet Jupiter; and also Kortney Gronau. She is also survived by three step great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Luke's Lutheran Church (110 E 2nd Ave, Franklin, MN 55333). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at the Eden Mount Hope Cemetery.
