She was predeceased by: her parents, Niels Schou and Martha Schou (Andersen); her husband Frederick W. Gegner (Fritz); her children, Randall, Kevin and Bonnie Welter; her grandsons, Cody Sams and Nathan Gegner; and her brother Aage.
She is survived by: her daughter Darla Sams (Brian) of Redwood Falls; and her children-in-law, Rex Welter of Morgan, Pauly Gegner of Redwood Falls and Kim Scanlon (Joe) of Mendota Heights. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethany Lutheran Church (27220 County Hwy 13, Morgan, MN 56266). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bethany Lutheran Cemetery (27220 County Hwy 13, Morgan, MN 56266). A burial was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
