She was predeceased by: her parents, Augusta Mary Engel Pelzel and Clement Pelzel; and her siblings, Roman, Ed, Leo, Erwin, Leona Pelzel Braun Lowinski, Art, Ben, Lucille Pelzel Helget, Irene Pelzel Meyer, Melvin and Marion Pelzel Gent Muller.
She is survived by: her husband Melvin Tauer; and her stepchildren, Marleen Hartjes (Jack) of Springfield, MN, Dale (Janet Mosman) of Spearfish, SD, Doreen Snyder (late Rod), Morgan, Debra Thronson (Mike) of Babb, MT and Jerry Tauer (Megan Flaherty) of Stacy, MN.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and one step-grandchild, 19 great-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Michael's Catholic Church (510 3rd St, Morgan, MN 56266).
