She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Olen and Darlene Olen (Elgin); and her siblings-in-law, Bill Mesenbrink and Beverly Barta. She is survived by: her husband John Mesenbrink of Holloway; her children, Stephanie Sherod (Jayson) of Benson, Heather Panitzke (Jon) of Waynesville, NC, Nicole Merdan of St. Joseph and Matthew Mesenbrink (Kristi) of Watkins; her grandchildren, Jacob Mesenbrink, Joshua Sherod, Jed Sherod, Logan Merdan, McKenzie Merdan, Gavin Mesenbrink, Teyton Mesenbrink and Ryker Mesenbrink; her great grandchildren, Jase and Evelyn Mesenbrink; her siblings, Jean Bergen (Lee) of Waukee, IA and Jon Olen (Michelle) of North Branch; and her siblings-in-law, David Mesenbrink (Lynn) and Patty Mesenbrink of Brooklyn Center. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Salvation Army.
