She was predeceased by: her parents, Milias Jorgenson (Shorty) and Augusta Jorgenson (Long); her husband David Rortvedt; her siblings, Susan Southwell and Donald Jorgenson; and her siblings-in-law, Bud Giese, Peggy, Solveig and Kathy.
She is survived by: her daughters, Angela Nybakke of Morris and Nathalie Klassen (B. J.) of Kensington; her stepson Scott Rortvedt (Angela) of Fargo, ND; her siblings, Dennis (Katy) of Mercedes, TX, Patty Ann Giese of Shakopee and Carolin Pillen (Dallas) of Chokio; her grandchildren, Tyler, Andrew and Chase Klassen; and her stepgrandchildren, Brianna Swanson and Carley Rindy. She is also survived by two step-great grandchildren; along with many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pedersen Funeral Home (101 S Atlantic Ave, Morris, MN 56267). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
