She was predeceased by: her parents, Loddie Matejka and Lena Matejka (Smith); her husband Edward of Theresia's Catholic Church; her son Charles; and her siblings, Roy, Clarence, Bernice, Jeanette, Bonnie, Betty, Glenn, Lillian and Evelyn.
She is survived by: her children, Lester Kopel (Sandy), Ron Kopel (Sandy), Mike Kopel (Joanie), Pat Dingman (Chuck) and Carol Henderson (Scott); and her siblings, Wayne Matejka (Dee Dee), Vernon Matejka and Winifred Perl. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A Mass will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Assumption Catholic Church (207 E 3rd St, Morris, MN 56267).
