She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter and Clara Whitmer (Bruhn); her husband Floyd "Sonny" Peterson; her children, Sharon Peterson and Steven Peterson; her son-in-law Gary Goulette; and her siblings, Raymond Whitmer and Lois Jean Sachs.
She is survived by : her children, Robert Peterson (Sarah) of Alexandria, Robin Banister of Glenwood, Jay Peterson of Morris and Karla Jo Goulette of Morris; her sisters, Betty Marlow of Morris, Rosalie Hall (Dick) of Dickinson, ND and JoAnne Cully of Elbow Lake; and her sister-in-law Eloise Neitzel of Morris. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
