He was predeceased by: his mother Sandra Spinler (Minske); his daughter Marissa Spinler; and his in-laws, Harold and Eleanor Saufferer. He is survived by: his father Larry Spinler of Morristown; his wife Tracie Spinler; his children, Kristin Krell (Justin) of Blooming Prairie, Alex Spinler (Lacey) of Waseca and Mikayla Spinler of Morristown; his grandchildren, Leah, Kaylee, Emery, Bowen, Andi and Lucas; his sisters, Kathy Jones (Craig) of Storm Lake and Julie Korth (Brian) of Neeah, Wisconsin; and his in-laws, Curt Saufferer (Linda) of Bemidji, Sue Balzer (Larry) of Blooming Prairie, Brad Saufferer (Cindy) of Morristown and Bruce Saufferer of Morristown. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
