He was predeceased by: his parents, Lowell Karsten and Melda Karsten (Hanson); his sister Brenda Goertz; his brother-in-law Henry Blair; and his nephew Joshua Benjamin.
He is survived by: his siblings, Dwight Karsten, Eileen Blair, Cheri Waugh (Curtis), Karen Norby (Mark), Rita Benjamin (Robert), Doyle Karsten (Angie Pattee), Sharon Nelson (Preston) and Dale Karsten (Carrie Groth); and his brother-in-law Mark Goertz. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
A prayer will be held on Saturday, January 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Morristown Community Center (402 Division St S, Morristown, MN 55052). A burial will be held on Saturday, January 3rd 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Immanuel Cemetery.
