He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Dotterweich and Marie Dotterweich (Gray); his son John P. Dotterweich Jr.; and his siblings, Cletus, Mark and Brian Dotterweich.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Dotterweich; his son Chris Dotterweich; his stepchildren, Jack Fugalli (Emily) and Lori Krenske (Kevin); his siblings, Dennis Dotterweich (Cheryl), David Dotterweich (Judy), Richard Dotterweich (Joan), Linda Jordan and Lynn Kelsey (Arthur); and his sisters-in-law, Vonnie Dotterweich and Vickie Dotterweich. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Furball Farm Cat Sanctuary in Faribault.
