He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Brooks and Melba Brooks (Herrley); his siblings, Joyce Witte and Kenneth; and his brothers-in-law, Roger Witte, Jack O'Rourke and Ken Wolf.

He is survived by : his sisters, Frances O'Rourke of Morristown and Kathy Wolf of Morristown. He is also survived by nieces; nephews; and other relatives and friends.
