She was predeceased by: her husband Evert Waataja; her son Keith; her parents, Albert Norgren and Ellen Norgren of South Haven, Minnesota.; and her siblings, Harlan Norgren and Carole Looman.
She is survived by: her siblings, Shirley Waataja, Marleigh Rumsey, Dellas Norgren, Sherry Bates and Diane Hess; and her daughters, Linda Nemes (Michael), Darcy Loffler (Jim), Tammy Claussen (Mark) and Lisa O'Reilley (Paul). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
