He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Donahue (Sjolund); and his siblings, Mary Lou, Rita, Betty and Bill.
He is survived by: his children, Michael (Teresa), Lucas and K. C. Sager (Adam); his grandchildren, Kevin, Cameron, Brandon, Madeline, Felix and Vivienne; and his siblings, Margaret, Colleen and Richard.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hillside Chapel (2610 19th Ave NE, Minneapolis, MN 55418). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
