It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon Leo Harder of Mountain Lake, Minnesota, who passed away on May 16, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo John and Ruth Anita Harder (Burkhard); his brother Charles Kenneth Harder; and also, Cornelius and Helena Toews (Schroeder).
He is survived by: his wife Eva Schroeder Toews of Menno Colony, Paraguay.; his children, Willmar (Hannah Neufeld), Elisabeth (Ramont Harder Schrock) and David (Rachel Byler Harder); his grandchildren, Elias, Amos, Reuben, Jonathan, Anna, Andrew, Annalise and Maria; and his sisters, Lois, Kathleen (Merin Kouay) and Mary (Wes Mark). He is also survived by brothers- and sisters-in-law.
Visitation was held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Community Bible Church-MTN Lake (500 Klein St, Mountain Lake, MN 56159). A memorial service was held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
