He is survived by: his wife Rosie Magaard; his children, Robyn Hatlestad (Brian), Holly Loiselle (Ed), Brent Magaard (Kristene) and Nathan Magaard; his grandchildren, Chelsea (Hank), Kate (Joey), Lauren (Chris), Ally (Sam), Matthew, Jake (Hannah), Will, Chase (Presley), Avery, Emma (Noah), Marc and Elise; his great grandchildren, Oslo and Wren Robson; his brothers, Paul (Dorothy), Donnie (Pat) and Richard (Wanda); his cousin Fred; his sisters-in-law, Sherry and Betty; and his cousins, Irene and Chuck.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (201 Orleans St S, Murdock, MN 56271). A Mass was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery (201 Orleans St S, Murdock, MN 56271).
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to be sent to CentraCare Hospice.
