He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerhard Nack and Arlene Nack (Buhman); his sister Evelyn; and his brothers-in-law, Leon Klinghagen, Dean Affeldt and Brent Affeldt.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Affeldt; his children, Kimberly Banister (Brian), Kerrie Hieb (Scott), Jessica Hoppe (William) and Colton Nack (Jill); and his siblings, Donald Nack (Carol), Sherryl Stramer (Dennis), Darlene Rose (David), Darryl Nack (Janie) and Debra Severson (Don). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
