With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gerald Sather of Nelson, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 15, 2025 at the age of 92. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Elmer Sather and Ada Myrtle Hansen; his parents-in-law, Waymon and Mayme Hanson; his siblings, Elenora (Marvin Eddy), Robert and Eugene; his siblings-in-law, Renalda and David Hanson; and his son-in-law John Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Kevin (Sharon) and Kathy (Russ); his grandchildren, Justin, Jillian, Dekker, Nikole and Madison; his great grandchildren, Dalton, Jackson, Camille, Thorston and Logan; his brother Donald; and his siblings-in-law, Constance Sather, Deborah Theusch (Cliff), John Hanson (Yvonne) and Rick Hanson (Sherilyn). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
