He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Chan and Antonia Chan (Kuchynka); and his siblings, Richard, Robert, Frank Chan and Ruby Dahlseng.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Hollenbeck; his children, Anthony Chan (Anita) of Marysville, WA and Kally Kutz (Jeff) of Nelson; his grandchildren, Shane Lombard, Luke Lombard, Brianna Johnson (Ronnie) and AJ Chan; and his great grandchildren, Easton and Riker Johnson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
