He is survived by: his children, Bruce Dennis Bolton (Nevis), Edward Earl Bolton, Jr. (Skip), Maeve and Nora; his grandchildren, Riley, Ethan and Hazel; his siblings, Mary Jo (Jim Sackett) of Nevis, MN, Dennis (Eileen Bolton) of Park Rapids, MN, Alice (John Strom) of Nevis, MN and Steve (Tami Bolton) of Nevis, MN.; his in-laws, Arlene Kallio, Jon and Carol Rhodes; and his nieces and nephews, James, Ronald, Karen, Kathy (Sackett), Katherine, Chris, Melvin, Travis (Bolton), Meghan (Strom), Alice Kay, Nick (Bolton), Margo, Beau Kallio, Reg Rhodes and Ryan Rhodes.
At the end of his life, he battled with Alzheimer's but remained quick with a joke and a laugh, throughout.
