He was predeceased by: his parents, Urban and Borghild; and his sisters, Joyce (Don), Beverly (Paul) and Avis (Phil).
He is survived by: his wife Alicia (Schumacher); his daughters, Sarah (Peter), Mae and Caryn (Jordan); and his brother Dale (Jan). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
