She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Jeff McCloskey; her children, Joelle Pidhayny (Andy) and Justin Meldaus (Jenny); her grandchildren, James, Ian, Ava, Gwen and Brynn; her siblings, Dennis DeVries (Nancy), Deidre Gustavson and Dawn Henkel (Scott); her brother-in-law Ed Emholtz; her godson Max Henkel (Gwen); her sister-in-law Susette Smith (Pat); her former husband Robert "Bob" Bleecker; her parents, Ken DeVries and Lois DeVries; her sister Diane Emholtz; her brother-in-law Charles "Gus" Gustavson; and her in-laws, Ray and Tootie Meldaus. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Robbinsdale Parkway (4200 Lake Rd Ave, Robbinsdale, MN 55422). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
