She was predeceased by: her parents, Edith Gomez and Jess Gomez; her husband Rudy Shellum; her daughter JoAnn Bartz; and her brother-in-law Kenneth Shellum.
She is survived by: her sister Mona Robinson; her sister-in-law Barbara Shellum; and her nieces, Cathleen Jorgensen (Alan) and Mary Sedlachek. She is also survived by Six Grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the New Brighton Chapel (706 4th Ave NW, New Brighton, MN 55112). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Saint John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery (115 7th St NW, New Brighton, MN 55112).
