He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Huberty and Lorraine Huberty. He is survived by: his wife Deborah (Deb); his sons, Derek (Karen) and Dustin (Tara); his grandsons, Zachary and Kylen; and his brothers, James, Richard and Charles. He is also survived by family members and friends.
During his tenure there he received many nominations and awards for his contributions to the Medtronic Mission to contribute to human welfare by being a leader in the medical device industry.
