In loving memory of John Baker Willette (New Brighton, Minnesota), born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who departed this world on May 4, 2025 at the age of 82. John Baker leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyril and Virginia; and his brother Tom. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen; his children, Shannon Michelson (Nick) and Carin Hanson (Brady); his grandchildren, Henrik, Jordyn, Malia, Carter and Cesar; and his siblings, LouAnn Willette (Dominican Order), Colleen Eckman (Michael), Steve Willette (Phyllis), Mark Willette (Ginny) and Jane Willette (John Lofswold). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (835 2nd Ave NW, New Brighton, MN 55112). A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
Donations are preferred to Twin Cities PBS (tpt.org), the Golden Gopher Athletic Fund, or the Ralph Reeder Food Shelf of New Brighton.
