With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert F. Rasmussen of New Brighton, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 14, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Robert may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his wife Gayle. He is survived by: his children, Wendy Evertz (Jim), Randy (Dana), Greg and David (Carrie); and his sister Delores Sopcinski. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and 10 great- grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (835 2nd Ave NW, New Brighton, MN 55112). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
