He was predeceased by: his mother Julia Clark; his brother Richard Clark (Dick); and his daughter Debra Wright. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Clark (Heider); his children, Jeff Clark (Kathy), Julie Tilert, Lisa Hollenback (Jay) and Jon Clark (Jen); and his grandchildren, Chris Wright (Julie), Matt Wright (Deneen), Ryan Clark (Angie), Joe Hollenback, Katie Armbruster (Alex), Adele, Tom and Sam Clark. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (835 2nd Ave NW, New Brighton, MN 55112). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Our Lady of Peace Hospice (https://ourladyofpeacemn.org), whose compassionate care brought comfort to Sam and his family in his final days.
