It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Gerald Mayer of New Brighton, Minnesota, who passed away on February 21, 2026, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Marian Mayer; his daughter Jody Kremer; his parents, Vernon Mayer and Rose Mayer; his sister Suzanne Gentle; and his great grandchild Esther Jensen.
He is survived by: his sister Linda Nelson (Wayne); his daughter Julie Nowlan (Tony); his son-in-law Alan Kremer; his grandchildren, Emily Jouwstra (Devin), Nick Jensen (Skylar), Natalie Schipper (Eli), Brandon Jensen (Maddie), Caroline Sellnau (Daniel), Joe Nowlan (Sarah) and Matt Nowlan; and his great grandchildren, Maren, Hayden, Tate Jouwstra, Paislee, Martha, Tehillah Jensen, Hailey, Ryann and Taylor Nowlan.
Memorials preferred to Calvary Church, Transport for Christ Ministries or Pancreatic Cancer research.
