He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund A. Kubasch and Erma L. Kubasch (Hoeft); his wife Arla Mae Willard; his parents-in-law, Pete and Margaret Willard; his sister Gail Bakeberg; and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Thiesse (Velmer), Jim Willard and Dennis Willard.
He is survived by: his sons, Gary Kubasch (Lori) of New Germany, Travis Kubasch (Lisa) of Lester Prairie and Jason Kubasch (Marlene) of Kandiyohi; his grandchildren, Nick, Alissa Kubasch, Chad, Tiffany Kubasch, Sawyer Kubasch and Jordyn Kubasch; his great grandchildren, Collins Kubasch, Marissa Kubasch and Beckett James Kubasch; his brother Rollin (Carol Kubasch); and his sisters-in-law, Audrey Willard of LaCrescent and Belva Willard of Brainerd. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
