It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Edvin Ackland (New Hope, Minnesota), born in Owatonna, Minnesota, who passed away on August 9, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Edvin Ackland and Loretta Ackland; his brother Donald; his son Andrew John; and his granddaughter Thea Eleanor.

He is survived by : his wife Martha (Marti); his children, Alyssa White (Sean), Ann and Aaron (Kora); his grandchildren, Andrew, Ellie White, Oliver and Mabel; and his siblings, Kathy Kopseng (Art), David, Jeannie Haukaas (Wayne), Diane Ackland and Karen Ackland.
