We are sad to announce that on September 21, 2025, at the age of 82, Kathleen Annette Charlson (New Hope, Minnesota), born in Red Wing, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Oelkers and Irene Oelkers (Anderson); and her siblings, Beverly Decker (James) and John Oelkers. She is survived by: her husband Norm; her children, Randall Kingaroy (Lynne), Gregory (Lisa), Teresa of Blaine, MN and Charles (Lisa); her brother Richard Oelkers (Jean) of Red Wing, MN.; and her grandchildren, Ezekiel Charlson, Karl Charlson (Amy), Victoria Kieselhorst (Phillip), Hailey Charlson, Niles Charlson (Brook), Jenna Charlson, Corrin Charlson, Nikolas Benskin and Thomas Benskin. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church (4240 Gettysburg Ave N, New Hope, MN 55428). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Oakwood Cemetery (1613 East Ave, Red Wing, MN 55066).
