She was predeceased by: her husband Clarence "Kay"; and her daughters, Jakki and Mary Jennifer. She is survived by: her children, Jeanne Fackler (Jim), Joe Nelson (Kathy) and Julie English (Wade); her grandchildren, Jesse, Jenelle, Eric, Alexis, Erin, Breanne and Amy; her sisters, Charlotte Gangelhoff and Yvonne Leonard; and her sister-in-law Jeanne Melsha. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Sacred Heart Church and School in Robbinsdale, Pro Life Across America or Franciscan Brothers of Peace.
