He was predeceased by: his father Vernon Johnson. He is survived by: his mother Joan Johnson (Rossell); his wife Dawn Johanson; his sons, Jeremiah Johnson (Sara) and Jesse Johnson; his granddaughters, Rylee, Kendall and Kam; and his siblings, Brenda Johnson and Bradley Johnson (Melissa). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
