David Lais Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Lais (New London, Minnesota), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 18, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Lais and Eleanor Lais (Hebbelman); his siblings, Jim Lais (Norma) and Sheryl Grindy; and his parents-in-law, William Duenow and Inez Duenow.

He is survived by: his wife Ardys Duenow; his children, Daniel Lais (Mandy) of St. Cloud and Sarah Scribner (Chris) of Monticello; his grandchildren, Mitchell, Blake, Jordyn and Katelyn; his siblings, Tom Lais (Celia) of Chandler and Jean Peterson (Dean) of Garretson; and his brother-in-law Mark Grindy of Brooklyn Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred and will be given to the organizations Dave holds dear.
