He was predeceased by : his parents, John Liebl and Crescentia Liebl (Hartung); and his brothers, John, Joseph, Donald and Jerome.

He is survived by : his wife Deanna Liebl; his children, Barbara Orsten (Keith) of Willmar, Lauri Liebl of Willmar, Bonnie Herda (Jerry) of Deer River, Chad Liebl (Pamela) of Sarasota, FL and Terri Bierbaum (Jay) of Maple Grove; his grandchildren, Brandon Orsten, Jaime Vlaminck, Quentin Orsten, Lindsey Herda, Justin Liebl, Juanita Zieske, Nicole Liebl, Samantha Sahr, Gabriela Yagow and Elise Bierbaum; his siblings, Susan Forster (Donald), Monica Stephenson, Tony Liebl (Karen) and Mary Case (Cy); and his sisters-in-law, Janet Buboltz (Steve) and Donna Liebl. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
