She was predeceased by: her parents, Josephine Machacek (Pumper) and Frank Machacek; her siblings, Elsie (Bisek), Bernice (Zelenka) and Norbert; her husband Wenceslaus John Kratochvil; her sons-in-law, Michael Carlson and Roger Fred Prchal; her grandson Richard Carlson; and her great grandchild Christian Prchal.

She is survived by: her children, James (Anita), Carol Carlson (Michael), Deborah Carpentier (Steven), Barbara Prchal (Fred), John and Theresa Mahowald (Jim).
