He is survived by: his wife Joan Ginter of New Prague; his daughter Elizabeth Novak (Ryan) of New Prague; his grandchildren, Hannah and Emmett Novak; and his siblings, Anita Root (David) of Bloomington and Brian Johnson of Minneapolis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
