He was predeceased by: his mother Victoria McConnell; and his brother Michael McConnell. He is survived by: his father Douglas McConnell; his wife Joleen McConnell; his children, Ashlin Rippentrop (Patrick) and Bradley J. McConnell (Emma); his grandchildren, Avarie, Jameson and Leighton; and his brother Brian McConnell (Sara).

The military honors will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 1:00 PM.
