He was predeceased by: his parents, Benedict Bruzek and Hilda Bruzek (Tempel); his nephew John Hanzel; and his brother-in-law Thomas Hanzel. He is survived by: his wife Katherine Bruzek (Kitty) of New Prague; his children, Laura Meiners (Michael) of Rochester, Dr. Matthew Bruzek (Laura) of Casco, MI, Dr. Amy Bruzek (Jeri Bross) of Eden Prairie and Dr. Elisabeth Vogt (Cory) of New Prague; his grandchildren, Alexander, Emma, Norah Meiners, David, Nicole Bruzek, Dylan Bross, Fiona, Ethan and Lydia Vogt; and his siblings, Deborah Hanzel of New Prague, Mary Frost (Steve) of New Prague and Dr. Mark Bruzek (Lani) of Cook.
Memorials are preferred to St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, School or Cemetery OR St. John's University in Collegeville.
