He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Schaak and Marcella Schaak. He is survived by: his wife Ann Schaak; his daughters, LuVerne Verhoeven (Tim), Deb Schultz (Ivan), Jan Weeman (Tim), Juanita Menke (Willy) and Laurie Johnson; and his sister Dianne Schumann. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren.
Memorials are preferred to St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church.
