It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Thera of New Prague, Minnesota, who passed away on November 2, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Mary leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Mary may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Thera and Helen Thera (Smith). She is survived by: her sister Helen Hartmann (Roger) of New Prague. She is also survived by 7 nieces & nephews; 17 great-nieces & great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church (215 Main St E, New Prague, MN 56071). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, November 10th 2025.
