He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Kitzman and Susan Kitzman (Maas); his daughter Cortney Kitzman; and his brothers, James, Phillip, Kenny and Tom.
He is survived by: his son-in-law Jeremy Weller of New Richland; his grandchildren, Cameron Kitzman of Mankato, Noah Weller of New Richland and Jonathan Weller of Tennessee; and his siblings, David Kitzman (Karen) of Colorado, Michael Kitzman (Joey) of California, Brian Kitzman (Irene) of Colorado, Mark Kitzman (Sandy) of Fergus Falls, Minnesota and Karen Peterson (Ed) of South Carolina. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
