He was predeceased by: his son Troy Wenzel; his great grandchild Zachary Flateland; his parents, Herman Wenzel and Mary Wenzel (Wood); his in-laws, Harold Wenzel, Jimmy Wenzel (Clara), Francis Wenzel (Lois), Lawrence Wenzel, Mardel (Wenzel), William Robinson, Jean McGuire, Duane McGuire and Dennis McGuire; and his nephews, William Robinson (Butch) and Daniel Wenzel.
He is survived by: his significant other Merlys Wenzel (McGuire) of Owatonna, MN; his children, Renae Jeno (David), Wade Wenzel (Denise) and Tammy Olson (Terry) of Roseau, MN; his daughter-in-law Rhonda Wenzel; and his siblings-in-law, Edna Wenzel, Ranae McGuire, Joyce Swenson, Brenda Ebnet, Jerry McGuire and Gordon Ebnet. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren.
