With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alan Carl Schwarz of New Ulm, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 8, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Schwarz; his sister Louise; his brother-in-law Harold Cords; his brothers, Merton (Elaine Schwarz), Harold "Bob" Schwarz and Dean (Shirley Schwarz); and his parents, Harold Schwarz and Laura Schwarz (Kurth).
He is survived by: his sons, David Schwarz of Aitken, James Schwarz (Sarah) of New Ulm, Mark Schwarz (Barb) of Benson and Thomas Schwarz (Lisa) of Big Lake; his close friend Janice Lammers; and his sister-in-law Patricia "Pat" Schwarz of Spring Valley. He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren.
