It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arlene B. Havemeier of New Ulm, Minnesota, who passed away on January 8, 2026, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Gerber (Hippert) and Arthur Gerber; her siblings, Donald Gerber and Ethel Korn; and her daughter-in-law Patty Havemeier.
She is survived by: her children, Dean Havemeier of Searles, Ardis Reinhart (Dan) of Lafayette and Judy Havemeier of New Ulm; her grandchildren, Andrew Havemeier (Jessica), Bobbie Jo Havemeier (Aaron), Kathy Oscarson (Lance), Laura Havemeier, Becky Gosewisch (Mac), Justin Flor (Hyde), Bethany Zinniel, John Reinhart (Molly) and Sarah Grussendorf (Brian); and her husband Waldemar Havemeier. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
