She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth Stueber; her daughters, Donna Helget and Connie Stueber; her grandsons, Jeff and Dennis Beranek; her sister-in-law Diane Mehlhop; and her parents, Harry Mehlhop and Rosella Mehlhop (Niebuhr).
She is survived by: her children, Karen Beranek (Chuck) of New Ulm and Brian Stueber (Jody) of New Ulm; her son-in-law Curt Helget; her grandchildren, Jon Beranek (Vanessa), Mitch Beranek (Jennie), Ben Beranek, John Helget (Kari) and Lisa Bauman (Curt); her great grandchildren, Leo, Kate Beranek, Jayden, Nolan Beranek, Chloe, Beau Helget, Weston and Tatum Bauman; and her brothers, Harlan and Bruce Mehlhop (Jean). She is also survived by four children together on their family farm, where Arlys was a farm wife.
