She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Turbes; and her parents, Walter Wellmann and Anne Wellmann (Weltsch). She is survived by: her children, Lynn Sorenson (Randy) of Amboy, Mary Beranek (James) of New Ulm and Randy Turbes (Janine) of Madison Lake; her grandchildren, David Ruiz of New Ulm, Casey Duininck (Jon) of Willmar, Chad Beranek (Liz) of New Ulm, Richard Beranek (Sujin) of Lakeville and Robert Beranek of New Ulm; her great grandchildren, Trenten Beranek (Meghan), Nathan Duininck of James, Theodore "Teddy" Schultz, Abby Duininck and Zoey Beranek; her sister Sharon Wellmann of New Ulm; and her siblings-in-law, Tecla Turbes of Las Vegas, Dorothy Weller of New Ulm and Tony Turbes of California. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
