She is survived by : her husband Rollie DuChene of New Ulm; her children, Kaitlin Carlson (Brett) of Minnetonka and Aaron DuChene (Alyssa) of New Ulm; her grandson Griffin; her parents, Rollie Forstner and Arlis Forstner (Helget) of New Ulm; and her siblings, Carol Case (Lee) of Sleepy Eye, Jane Forstner of North Mankato, Paula Forstner of Esko, Kelly Forstner of New Ulm, Lee Forstner (Cathy) of New Ulm and Alan Forstner (Jewel) of New Ulm.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home North Chapel (218 N Broadway St, New Ulm, MN 56073). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (417 S Minnesota St, New Ulm, MN 56073).

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the School Sisters of Notre Dame, Central Pacific Province and New Ulm Area Catholic Schools.
