He is survived by: his wife Virginia; his children, Warren (Barb) of New Ulm, Annemarie Huebner (Jim) of Milwaukee, Daniel of Apple Valley, MN, Miriam Waldner (Scott) of New Ulm and Paul (Bethany) of Winsted, MN; and his grandchildren, Philip Huebner (Becky), Karis Graham (Chad), Elisabeth Marker (Tim), David Backer (Rachel), Catherine, Kelsey, Elise Backer, Kortney Schroeder Gronau (Aaron) and Austin Schroeder.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church (627 S Washington St, New Ulm, MN 56073). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are preferred to St. John's Lutheran Church in New Ulm or Martin Luther College.
