She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Mecklenburg and Claire Mecklenburg (Sellner); and her sister Sandy. She is survived by: her siblings, Paulette (Larry), Mary Ann (John), Jim (Kim) and Ron (Erin); and her close friend Russ Koester. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Brown County Historical Society or the Handmaids of the Heart of Jesus in New Ulm, Minnesota.
