He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Klimpel; his children, Candy Larro (Ralph) of Preston, Chris Schewe (Julia) of Sleepy Eye, Cathy Schewe (Alan Schwerzler) of Stillwater and Casey Schewe (Kelly) of New Ulm; his stepsons, Erik Klimpel and James Klimpel; and his sister Virginia Isder. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
